Why are my Quick Press Mani nails not staying on?Updated 2 days ago
Here are a few common reasons:
- Nails weren’t fully prepped (leftover oils, lotion, or moisture on the nail)
- Nail size or fit isn’t quite right (too large or too small)
- Hands got wet too soon after application (within the first hour)
- Naturally oily nail beds or frequent handwashing
- Exposure to heat, humidity, or prolonged moisture (saunas, steam rooms, long baths, or pools)
- Nails were not pressed firmly enough or for long enough during application
What you can do:
- Buff your nail bed thoroughly until no part of the surface is shiny.
- Wipe your nails with the provided alcohol pad.
- Avoid touching your nails with your fingers after wiping.
- Apply the press-on nails immediately after prepping for the best hold.
- Press each nail firmly for 10–15 seconds (up to 30 seconds for a stronger hold) to ensure even contact and help prevent air bubbles.
