How to Remove Glamnetic Press-On Nails SafelyUpdated 27 minutes ago

If you’ve been holding onto your Glamnetic set because you’re worried they’ll never come off or might ruin your nails, you’re not alone. The truth? You can wear press-ons without damage when you apply and remove them correctly. Here’s exactly how to do it.

What you'll need

  • Glamnetic Press-On Nail Remover (optional, but it's the quickest, gentlest way)
  • A bowl of warm water
  • Dish soap and a little oil (olive oil or any oil you like)
  • Cuticle pusher or orangewood stick
  • Nail file
  • Cuticle oil and a thick hand cream

Option 1: Basic Steps

  1. Soak your nails in warm, soapy water with a skin-safe oil (such as coconut, olive, castor, or vitamin E oil) for 10–15 minutes. This helps loosen the adhesive.
  2. Create a small gap. Gently slide a cuticle stick under the edges of the nail to create a small gap.
  3. Use floss if needed. If needed, carefully use dental floss to work under the sides of the nail and gently wiggle it back and forth until the nail lifts.
  4. Soak a little longer if needed. If the nail still doesn't come off easily, soak your nails a little longer and repeat the steps. The nails should lift with gentle pressure once the adhesive has softened.

Option 2: Use the Press-On Nail Remover

  1. Soak your nails in warm, soapy water with a skin-safe oil for 10–15 minutes to help soften the adhesive.
  2. Create a small gap. Gently slide a cuticle stick under the edges of the nail. Once you have a small opening, apply 1–2 drops of our Press-On Nail Remover and let it sit for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Lift with floss. Carefully use dental floss to work under the sides of the nail, gently wiggling it back and forth until the nail lifts.

The one rule: never pull or pry your nails off. That's what can damage your natural nails. If you want to see the entire process, please check out the video below:
